The 5 most instagrammable spots of Marrakech

Jardin Majorelle - Le Jardin Majorelle is a beautiful garden which was created by Jacques Majorelle in 1920 is now owned by Yves Saint-Laurent who bought it in 1980 to save it from destruction. The verdant tropical garden with a royal blue house in the garden guarantees a gorgeous photo no matter which angle you use, for an explosion of colours on your instagram page.

The Souk - For trendy photos, the Souk is the perfect location for a photoshoot. Located in the Medina where the walls are orange toned, Villanovo recommends heading there during golden hour for a beautiful sight which even the best of cameras won’t be able to rely on social media.

Ben Youssef Madrasa -  This former islamic college which is now an islamic historical site is one of the most fascinating buildings in the city with its colourful arches, tiled walls and spectacular architecture. It would also be a shame not to visit it as other islamic sites such as mosques are closed to the public.

The Agafay desert - Also known as the Marrakchi desert, the Agafay desert is the perfect location for an adventurous excursion while in Marrakech. The golden dunes of this beautiful desert are spectacular, especially during sunrise or sunset, while riding a camel or on a quad bike.

A rooftop in the Medina -  There is no better place than a rooftop overlooking the Jemaa el fna square in the Medina to gain another perspective on the hustle and bustle of the red city, photography wise but also philosophy wise.
