Villa Mauresque is a beautifully designed property with distinctive charm, a large and very peaceful garden, 5 ensuite bedrooms, private heated swimming pool, house chef and maid.

La Casa

Located in Ourika, 25 minutes from the center of Marrakech, this beautiful villa welcomes 8 guests with its 4 high-standing bedrooms with private bathrooms, for an intimate holiday with friends or family. Villa Mauresque was recently published in the British magazine ‘House&Garden’ due to its incomparable beauty and charm.

As are the typical Moroccan villas, the bedrooms and living spaces are all organised around a patio with a traditional fountain in the middle. The single-storey villa transports its guests into an oriental dimension with its original and typical decor, always in great comfort. All of the bedrooms include a safe and both pool and bath towels are provided.

The exteriors are as delightful as the interiors with as they are kept well organised by house staff including a gardener, housekeeping and a chef who will be pleased to give you a taste of the Moroccan gastronomy. There is a private and heated swimming pool which guests can dip into after an exciting day of sightseeing. There is also a pool house at the guest’s disposal with exterior living spaces to enjoy intimate meals with your loved ones.

Villa Mauresque also includes a rooftop terrasse where guests can admire the splendor of the Atlas mountains as well as the gorgeous garden full of olive trees and other verdant vegetation.

The villa was huge and beautifully decorated, with a wonderful garden for kids to run around in safely.
The staff were lovely and the chef produced excellent food every day.

Great selection of villas but it sometimes felt communication was slow/inefficient - except for when Villanovo was asking me for money, in which case you were super efficient.
Mathilde was very helpful in arranging a wine delivery during Ramadan.
The pool seemed to get progressively colder throughout the week (not sure if heating stayed on) and the beds were a little too firm.

Magnifique villa, très belle décoration, personnel très aimable.
Difficile de trouver la maison si on vient en voiture de location. Un plan en pdf aurait été un plus, la localisation GPS étant inefficace.

Sans hésiter, la qualité du personnel ( cuisinières, femme de menage, jardinier . J’inclu dans le personnel les chauffeurs qui nous ont promenés tout au long de la semaine) : professionnel, aimable, et discret !
La villa est très agréable avec de grandes chambres, son salon, son grand jardin et sa piscine!
La localisation de la villa est un plus, à mon sens, pour ceux qui recherchent le calme. Marrakech et les autres activités sont très proches en voiture.

Toute l’équipe de Villanovo a très bien géré notre séjour et nous les remercions !

Maison ravissante, très bien décorée , et en même temps simple et accessible aux familles avec bébés , enfants et grands mères...le jardin et les terrasses suffisamment grands pour que chacun puisse trouver du calme. Le personnel est aux petits soins, de Mustapha, l’intendant à la cuisinière Majda dont la cuisine très saine et variée est délicieuse, et qui veille au confort de tous aidée par Halima,
Nous avons adoré notre séjour très bien organisé en amont par Mathilde, la concierge de la Villa.

Villanovo : Excellent. Le site fait rêver et la relation client est très bonne.
Il n’y en a pas...
Juste pour les amateurs de sorties nocturnes à Marrakech , la maison n’est pas tout près, il faut compter une bonne demi heure mais le calme est extraordinaire.

Wirklich ein SEHR großes Lob , freuen Sie sich das jemand wie Frau Seymour für Sie arbeitet.
Die Schlafzimmer waren sehr schön , großzügig ! Die Matratzen im Bett sind jedoch eine echte Zumutung, so etwas von hart , wahnsinn. Hier müsste für unser alle Begriffe etwas geändert werden.

Wir wurden in der Villa sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend empfangen. Das Personal des Hauses hat uns den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gestaltet und auf unseren Rythmus als Familie jederzeit Rücksicht genommen. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gerichtet, Wäscheservice und Kochservice haben für die gewünschte Erholung gesorgt. Kulinarisch haben wir uns sehr verwöhnen lassen und wir behalten die abendlichen Essen bei Kerzenlicht und marokkanischen Gerichten in bleibender Erinnerung.
Das Haus selbst ist sehr gemütlich, stilsicher (very british) und weiträumig angelegt und eingerichtet. Der große Garten mit Pool und Tischtennisplatte bot auch unseren viel Platz zum spielen.
Das Haus bietet einen deutlichen Kontrast zu Marrakesh. Wer also sowohl das bunte Treiben der Stadt als auch Ruhe und Erholung sucht, findet in der Villa Mauresque wirklich eine sehr gute Lösung.
Angenehm und herzlich war auch unser Villanovo-Kontakt Bettina: Alle Fragen wurden schnell beantwortet und die Vermittlung von Taxis und einem Guide für Marrakesh wurden für uns problemlos organisiert.
Dies ist nur als eine kleine Kritik zu verstehen:
Das Haus mit großem Garten liegt innerhalb eines größeren Komplexes weiterer Villen. Es ist grundsätzlich blickdicht und ruhig gelegen. Sollten die Nachbarn allerdings die Nacht zum Tag machen, wird das Schlafen etwas unruhig (bei uns nur einmal vorgekommen).
Etwas störend haben wir empfunden, dass Personal (außer dem Gärtner und den beiden Hauswirtschafterinnen) anderer Häuser bzw. Verwalter durch das Grundstück liefen. Die Häuser werden offensichtlich gemeinsam verwaltet. Allerdings ging so manchmal etwas die Privatsphäre verloren. Genau deswegen bucht mal allerdings ein Ferienhaus und nicht die Hotelanlage.

the house was perfect and so beautiful. the gardens were incredible and perfect for small kids to run around in. My kids also loved the donkeys from next door. The food was AMAZING and the staff were very helpful.

l equipe qui s occupe de la maison est très sympa et serviable.
maison au calme
maison moins agréable en hiver car toutes les chambres donnent sur le patio et on doit donc passer par l extérieur pour accéder aux chambres et les temperatures sont très froides le matin, le soir et la nuit en hiver.
piscine ne peut pas être suffisamment chauffer en hiver.
le chauffage central n était pas mis en marche pour hiver, il y avait juste des chauffages d appoint électriques, du coup il fait globalement froid dans les grandes chambres et dans les salles de bain.
il aurait ete plus agreable d avoir une housse de couette pour la couette plutôt qu'un drap simple, une couverture (pas très hygiénique quand c est une maison de location ) et une couette sans housse car la nuit tout a tendance a glisser/ tomber...:)
le 2eme lit bebe n avait pas de vrai matelas.

Villa - Absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. The staff were lovely and accommodated all our needs with charm and humour. The food we ate was fantastic. The pool area is perfect and attended with care.

The booking process was very straightforward. All our inquiries and requests were answered very promptly and our holiday worked like a dream. We were so impressed by Villanovo that for the first time ever we have returned to the same company and villa for a second year.

Nous avons réglé les problèmes d'odeur dans la salle de bain. Cela ne se reproduira pas. Les climatisations ont été entretenues pour fonctionner maintenant correctement. Je suis rassuré que vous écriviez "disparition" d'argent car toutes ces dernières années, il n'y pas eu de vol à la maison. Le personnel est très attentif à la bonne tenue de la maison, au confort des clients et attaché à son job. On ne peut pas laisser croire cela aux prochains occupants!

Villa stands in beautiful well-kept gardens and the pool area is especially lovely.

Twice I called to speak to someone from VillaNovo and was told no-one was available but I did get email responses a couple of days later. As it was our first experience of the company I was a little anxious when no-one was able to talk to me on the phone. In fact everything worked out very well and completely efficiently.
There was nothing we disliked.

Une mention spéciale pour l' accueil chaleureux et, durant tout mon séjour, le suivi discret mais efficace effectué par Jennifer et Ghita son assistante. Les bons petits plats confectionnés par Lalla Fatna m'ont fait prendre quelques kilos mais quel bonheur! Le sourire de Radhija la femme de chambre était bien agréable. Avant d'attaquer l'enregistrement de mon album ce séjour ne fût que source d'énergie procurée par toutes ces attentions. Merci Jennifer et Ghita et à très bientôt. Maurane

Just outside the exciting, bustling world of central Marrakesh lies a beautiful, tranquil oasis of calm – Villa Mauresque. It is beautifully appointed, set in the most wonderful garden full of ancient olive trees. It is truly a house set in sympathetic surroundings, with helpful and courteous staff and a short ride from the centre of the city. We enjoyed exploring the nearby mountains, visited the ski slopes and the local Kasbahs of the Ourika Valley area. Perfect for walks and day trips – we would definitely recommend and return.
