Indoors & outdoors

The villa offers a warm and elegant atmosphere with spectacular views of the garden and the Atlas Mountains from every room. The central lounge has a large dining area and a beautiful fireplace to keep you warm in the cooler months. Large glass doors open from every room and lead to the garden and swimming pool (20x7m). The house also has a TV room with DVD player and broadband internet access.

The property has 5 beautiful en-suite bedrooms and a staff room. One of the bedrooms has 4 bunk beds ideal for children.

The terraces offer space for outdoor dining and the rooftop is highly recommended for aperitifs or sunset dinners.

Staff & Services

The villa rental includes a caretaker, garden and pool maintenance staff and an excellent cook.
Meal preparation is included in the price, only the cost of ingredients will be subject to a supplement.
The pool can be heated on request, at an extra charge and with two days' pre-heating (compulsory).

Location

Villa Des Oliviers is only a 5 minute drive from two of Marrakech's finest golf courses, the Royal Palm and Samanah, and the Ritz Carlton Polo Club. The airport is a 15 minute drive from the villa and Marrakech is 20 minutes away.

Comments

We had the most wonderful holiday in Marrakech. From the moment Turia and Fatima greeted us we knew we were in safe hands. The Riad is stunning and cleverly laid out. The people working in the Riad were really lovely, really friendly and really helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We were a family of 9 with an age range of 22 months to 87 years and the Riad couldn't have been more perfect for our stay and our requirements. Fatima's food was delicious and always so beautifully presented - it goes without saying that it was super tasty too. Fatima and Turia presented us with a splendid celebratory meal for our 40th wedding anniversary including the most fantastic cake and we couldn't have wished for it to be any nicer or to celebrate anywhere else. We have returned to London rested, happy and content. Since we've been home all we can talk about is when we can get back!
I recommended Villanovo to several friends already

It wasn't really a dislike but unfortunately the lovely dog Max did keep on barking through the night. I mentioned it to Fatima and Turia and they did manage to sort it but on our final night he did bark quite a lot again - it just meant that we didn't get back to sleep again properly. We had no objection to Max other than the night barking - we have a golden retriever at home ourselves.

My daughter Mei and her young family were staying in the rooms with the bunkbeds for the children and the en-suite with a bath. The smell that emanated from the shower was strong and continued with every shower. It meant that the little boys aged 22 months and 4 and Mei herself came over every evening to use our shower. If this is a drainage problem it does need to be fixed - also their shower was pretty dated and not fast flowing.
