La Casa
Located in the heart of the villa is a splendid property surrounded by 3.5 acres of land covered with a manicured lawn, palm tress, olive trees and orange trees. Only 15 minutes from golf courses and Marrakech city centre, the villa offers the quintessence of the Palmeraie experience.
Within its vast landscaped gardens is a private swimming pool (15 x 5m, heated on request at extra charge) and also a tennis court (the tennis court is shared with neighbouring villas).
The property comprises the main villa with four bedrooms, a cottage with two other bedrooms, a pool house and a small separate house for the staff near the entrance of the property.
The villa is air conditioned (bedrooms only in the main villa) and the cottage features ceiling fans. The main house is centrally heated during the winter and the garden pavilion is heated with electric space heaters.
The property is for rent in a 4 bedroom or 6 bedroom configuration, yet we always guarantee our guests full exclusive use of the property. Minimum stay here is 5 nights (except peak season).
In the villa:
- Lounge with sofas and fireplace, dining room with fireplace, terraces, kitchen, outdoor dining areas.
- 2 double bedrooms with king size bed (can be turned into twin) with ensuite bathrooms and direct access to garden.
- 1 double bedroom with 4-poster king size bed, ensuite bathroom (bath and shower) and direct access to garden.
- On the first floor is a master bedroom (king size bed) with ensuite bathroom (bath and large shower) and private terrace with views to the Atlas Mountains.
In the cottage:
- 2 bedrooms with double beds (can be turned into twins) each with ensuite bathrooms.
- Lounge.
The villa is fully staffed with a caretaker, maid and cook. Food is at an extra cost. Youssef, the villa manager, will take care of grocery shopping for you and our cook will prepare a wonderful traditional Moroccan cuisine.

Le responsable, ABDOU, professionnel, aimable ,réactif, attentif à tous les détails, sympathique!!! C'est rare de trouver des responsables des maisons aussi bien!! Les cuisinières, très professionnelles , faisant une nourriture très savoureuse!
Le grand jardin, très agréable et très bien entretenu. La piscine, le terrain de pétanque, la table de ping pong....
L'annexe, avec des chambres d'un niveau inférieur.
Le chemin pour y accéder sans dalles, et avec la pluie on marchait sur la boue.
Le manque d'illumination du jardin; pour aller dormir le soir dans l'annexe, indispensable avoir une torche ou le portable bien chargé.....
Le cadre et l'architecture de la maison qui permettent à chacun de s'isoler quand on le souhaite.
Le personnel : Abdou est d'une gentillesse et d'une efficacité incroyable ! La cuisinière est une réelle perle !
Le tennis qui nécessiterait une rénovation...
Très bel accueil, le personnel de maison est discret et toujours présent si besoin.
Les cuisinières vont un travail remarquable, toujours au petits soins pour les petits comme pour les grands.
Abdou est toujours à l'écoute et pense le meilleur pour les hôtes de la maison.
La maison est très au calme, magnifiquement entretenue et très bien agencée.
Nous reviendrons avec très grand plaisir.

Ce riad est tout simplement merveilleux.
Tout est sublime : les parties communes, les chambres, la piscine, le jardin.
Le personnel est extraordinaire, d'une gentillesse hors pair qui a fait de notre séjour un rêve éveillé.
Les repas étaient d'une qualité sans commune mesure.
Mathilde de Villanovo qui s'est occupé de nous a été parfaite.
Elle a organisé tout notre séjour, nos activités, nos réservations de restaurants, les transferts aéroport etc.
Toujours à l'écoute, disponible et réactive.

Jardins et piscine
On a passé quelques superbes jours de vacances dans la villa El Majal I.
La villa est très agréable et spacieuse, le jardin est grand et bien entretenu, et la piscine est également grande.
Le service était excellent, et les cuisinières ont fait de leur mieux.
On est très satisfait.
Les serviettes-éponges sont un peu dures.
On aurait pu changer les serviettes Au milieu du séjour.
La distance du centre est un peu loin.

Villanovo : Ces vacances ont été organisées à la derniere minute ( comme souvent ) nous avons apprécié l efficacité et flexibilité de Riad . Et des propriétaires .
C est très important pour nous la confiance la disponibilité bravo
La propreté
We had a great week at the villa and thank you for all of your help organising the week for us.
In general, the villa was exactly what we required. The food was utterly exceptional throughout and Yousef was very helpful. The major thing that either I missed or was not explained, was that not one of them spoke English! This to me was a major oversight and if my girlfriend had not spoken French, we would have really struggled. Just a note for you.
We did various trips into town and a day up in the mountains which was fantastic.
Our dinner in the desert was a mixed success. What a beautiful setting and really enjoyed the sundowners. It did get very cold as expected but the heater in our dinner tent was broken and the fire pit was a joke. They used logs which were useless and didnt burn, so the fire man had to keep returning to pour parafin on it, which in turn smoked the tent out with fumes and nearly killed by father!
The masseuse was ok but expensive for what she produced so we didnt use her every day. The tennis coach was fantastic but again there was a language barrier and as such, a confusion about costs. He had been booked for 2 hours a day but someone else had booked the court which meant we could only play for 1.5hrs each day. We understood that he initially had agreed to not charge for the final 30 mins each day, but on the final day, in fact charged full price. So again - just annoying that it could not have been booked properly and as such, we had to overpay.
All in all though, we had a great stay so thank you both for your help.
The staff, Yuseff and the three ladies were just outstanding. They made the holiday.The design and decor of the villa is superb.

Chauffage moyen dans l'annexe
Maison magnifique très bien située, le marjordome Youssef est très gentil et fait tout ce qu'il faut pour rendre le séjour agréable. Excellente réactivité et qualité de réponse de mon interlocuteur Riad chez VillaNovo et en plus de manière très courtoise !
The house is beautiful and the location is wonderful. Yossif is very helpful on all fronts and is a pleasure to be around.
The cleaning staff was very poor. The level of service provided for cleaning the property was very poor. Numerous times I had to remind the young lady to clean something (toilets, bathrooms, closet) or organise clothes, bring in the laundry, clean baby chairs, etc. Little effort was put into cleaning the bedrooms and all other rooms in the house. It was very dusty You have to be very clear with the chef whether you want food after your meals to be left for the next day. If not it will be consumed by the staff or simply thrown away. A lot of waisted food. And despite my many reminders children's meals were not prepared on time and often not at all as the staff was gone from about 2-5 pm.

I must say I am very surprised and I would like to apologize if this aspect of your stay was not satisfactory. However I have to say that our villa is always very clean, very tidy. As owner I take pride in having a property which is always in the best conditions for us and for our guests. The villa staff has been with us for several years and they do a fantastic job in offering hassle free vacations to our guests.
It is also important to understand that our villa is a family villa, not a hotel. The staff does a discreet and efficient job but in a "family way" and we would like to keep it this way : efficient and friendly.
Très belle maison, agréable. Jardin superbe. Séjour parfait encore une fois. Nous avons été emballé par ce séjour. C'est la deuxième fois que nous venons. Youssef est au petit soin.
