Riad Kolos is a 400 m² gem located in the heart of the medina of Marrakech. Designed as a family home to receive loved ones and live to the Marrakech rhythm for a change of scenery, it consists of 6 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Several years of renovation have made it possible to create this haven of softness with many atmospheres: a lovely patio with trees and a small pool, a heated swimming pool on the roof, very rare in Marrakech. This atypical riad perfectly combines the antique charm, a 70s inspired decoration and contemporary comfort.

Room 1 - Benares :
Room, Ground level, direct access to the courtyard. This bedroom has 1 double bed Queen size configurable in twin beds. Bathroom private, with shower. WC in the bathroom.

Room 2 - Bois de Fez :
Suite, 1st floor. This bedroom has 1 double bed King size. Bathroom private, with bathtub, shower. This bedroom includes also dressing room.

Room 3 - Babouche :
Room, 1st floor. This bedroom has 1 double bed Queen size configurable in twin beds. Bathroom private, with shower. WC in the bathroom.

Room 4 - Tanger :
Room, 1st floor. This bedroom has 1 double bed Queen size configurable in twin beds. Bathroom private. WC in the bathroom.

Room 5 - Pondichery :
Room, 1st floor. This bedroom has 1 double bed Queen size configurable in twin beds. Bathroom private, with shower. WC in the bathroom.

Room 6 - Berbere :
Room, Terrace level. This bedroom has 1 double bed King size. Bathroom private, with shower. WC in the bathroom.

Indoors

The property has a superb summer lounge with nearly 5 meters high ceilings, Mauritanian mat and fireplace open onto the garden and its pond. The winter dining room has a Prussian stove and the winter lounge, with its 19^th century painted ceiling, has its own fireplace. A TV room with a library, DVDs and a game console is also available. The kitchen is reserved for the cook of the riad, with free access to drinks and coffee. The entire property is air-conditioned and equipped with underfloor heating as well as a high-performance wifi connection.


Outdoors

On the ground floor, the patio is a real source of tranquility, thanks to its many spaces to relax and its magnificent jacaranda, lemon and mandarin trees. The roof terrace has an 8 x 3 meters heated swimming pool in tadelakt, a pergola housing a summer dining room, an outdoor living room and an outdoor shower. The riad is secure and equipped with a surveillance camera at the entrance of the riad.


Staff & Services

Every morning, a cleaning team comes to clean the riad and redo the rooms. The kitchen is not accessible for guests: the local cook is available. Meal requests must be communicated 24 hours in advance. The Home Manager, in charge of the riad, is also present to assist and give as much advices as possible.


Location

The riad is ideally located in the medina, in the authentic and secure Bab Doukkala district, 8 minutes walk from the famous souks of Marrakech. It is close to the ramparts with very easy access to the new town of Gueliz or to the outside of Marrakech. A taxi station and a car park are 2 minutes walk from the riad, facilitating all travel.
