Dar Batma is a property originally designed as a small country villa. It was built by and served as the residence of famous Moroccan architect Elie Mouyal. Dar Batma has been transformed into a luxury family villa with 6 double bedrooms (4 suites and 2 children bedrooms). The house stands in the heart of a large private park in the palm grove of Marrakech, 15 minutes from the city centre.

Room 4
Room, 1st floor, direct access to the garden. This bedroom has 1 double bed King size. Bathroom ensuite, with bathtub, shower. This bedroom includes also air conditioning, fireplace, living area, private terrace, private balcony.

Room 5
Room, Ground level, direct access to the garden. This bedroom has 1 double bed Queen size. Bathroom shared. This bedroom includes also air conditioning, fireplace.

Room 6
Room, Ground level, direct access to the garden. This bedroom has 1 double bed Queen size. Bathroom shared. This bedroom includes also air conditioning.
Bedroom 4 spreads over two floors designed as a private apartment a with a beautiful terrace overlooking Marrakech Palmeraie.
Bedrooms 5 and 6 are more suitable for children.


Indoors

Interior living areas are very pleasant and comfortable offering fireplaces, large sofas and reading chairs. They are carefully decorated with local crafts, luxury rugs, classic and oriental paintings.
On request a few other bedrooms can be made available and are subject to an extra charge. These bedrooms are better suited for children.

Outdoors

Dar Batma is a charming escape with several courtyards, garden areas and terraces offering plenty of lounge space and intimate corners. A seguia (small irrigation canal) runs quietly in the vast garden bursting with flowers, fruit trees and colours. Having lunch on the terrace under the shade of olive trees is a heavenly moment.
The villa features 2 swimming pools. There is a discreet pool (12m) on one side of the garden which provides refuge for guests in search of calm. The second swimming pool (20m) is on the other side of the garden with a large covered terrace where lunches and dinners are served.


Staff & Services

The staff are friendly, efficient and discreet and include a caretaker, a cook, a butler, 2 maids and a gardener.
