In the heart of the Atlas, in the province of Azilal, there natural wonders stand 110 metres high and are located around 150 kilometres from Marrakech. The spectacular Ouzoud waterfalls in the red rock gorge of the El Abid River are among the highest and most beautiful in Morocco. Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, they display a beautiful rainbow at almost all times thanks to the waters that bounce off 3 different heights. To reach these incredible springs you will have to cross a path lined with olive trees and pass by a small Berber Village. In addition, from the top of these majestic waterfalls, some of the historic water mills continue to extract olive oil from the surrounding crops.
